Terms of Service - Fizz Wedding
Online Wedding Page Services
Effective Date: October 14, 2026 | Last Updated: October 14, 2026
Fizz Wedding Ltd ("Fizz Wedding", "we", "us", "our")
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fizz Wedding's wedding website services, apps, and related features (the "Services"). By creating an account, buying a Wedding Pass, accessing a wedding page, or uploading content, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. It is not part of our agreement with you, and you do not need to agree to it. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

Our Services
We provide tools to create and manage a private online wedding page, including photo and video galleries, guest posts and messages, RSVP replies and meal choices, a table and seating planner, menu and gift information, a slideshow, and sharing controls. Guests join by invite link or QR code. Features vary by plan and may change over time. We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
1. Wedding Page Creation & Authority
Authority & Consent
By creating or administering a wedding page, you confirm you are one of the couple or you have clear permission from the couple. You are responsible for obtaining and retaining required permissions/consents (including for photos, videos, music, and third-party rights).
Who May Be Featured
The Couple
The couple: a wedding page may be created by or for a couple celebrating their wedding.
Other People Featured
Other people featured on the page (for example in photos, videos, Our Story content, or wedding party details): only where they have given appropriate consent to the processing and publication of their personal data and images.
Family Disputes
We do not take sides in personal or family disagreements between users, and we do not mediate them. We will not change, restrict or remove a wedding page, or anyone's access to it, only because people disagree. We do act where the law requires it, for example on a court order or a valid legal notice about defamation or copyright. We also act on content that breaks these Terms, as described in the section on prohibited content. And we act on requests under data protection law, as described below.
2. Age Requirements
Minimum Age
You must be 18 or over to buy a Wedding Pass or to join a wedding page.
We ask you to confirm you are 18 or over when you buy a Wedding Pass and when you join a wedding page as a guest. If we reasonably believe you are under 18 or have misrepresented your age, we may suspend or terminate access.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18. If we learn this has happened, we will delete the data and may suspend or terminate access. This does not stop an adult guest naming someone under 18 when they reply to an invitation, for example a child they are bringing with them. That information is given to us by the adult. If you add dietary requirements for anyone you bring, we save them only if you tick a box to agree. Only fill them in for someone else if they have asked you to. For a child, that means you are their parent or guardian, or their parent or guardian has asked you to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle this information.
3. Account Types & Security
Subscribers (Admins)
In these Terms, "you" means anyone who uses the Services. The couple: "the couple" means the person who buys a Wedding Pass, and their partner if they add them to the wedding page. The couple create and control their wedding page within the limits of their plan, including who may join it, what appears on it, and removing a guest or their content. Collaborators: "a collaborator" means someone the couple invites to help edit the wedding page. A collaborator cannot buy, change or cancel the Wedding Pass.
Guests
Guests: "a guest" means someone who joins a wedding page by invitation. Guests can view the page, post photos, videos, messages and comments, and take part where the couple allows it.
Your Security Responsibility
You are responsible for your login security and all activity under your account. Notify us of unauthorised use immediately.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Plans & Pricing
Plan details and current prices are shown on our Pricing page. We sell the Wedding Pass in three plans: Toast (£89), Celebrate (£169) and Champagne (£299). You pay once, in pounds sterling, as shown on the Pricing page. A Wedding Pass lasts 12 months. The 12 months start when your free trial ends or, if you start your pass early, on the day you pay. It does not renew, and we do not charge you again for it. The number of wedding pages each plan includes is shown on the Pricing page. We may change the price of a Wedding Pass for new purchases at any time. We may change the price of Archive or Extension (see below) with at least 30 days' notice before a renewal. You can start your Wedding Pass with a 7-day free trial, or pay at once. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, and we take no payment during it. During the trial only you can use your wedding page: guests and collaborators cannot join until your pass starts. At the end of the trial we charge your payment method once, at the price of the plan you chose, and your 12 months begin. You can end the trial early and start your pass at once from your account page, and we then charge you at that moment. You can cancel during the trial and pay nothing. The free trial is available once per customer. A Wedding Pass covers one couple's wedding and the celebrations that belong to it, including a new date if plans change. You may not use one pass to run events for other couples, or resell access to it. If we find a pass used this way, we will tell you what we found and give you 14 days to respond. If it continues, we may close the wedding pages that do not belong to your own wedding. Before we close anything, we give you a chance to download its content. This does not affect your right to cancel within 14 days of buying.
Billing
Fees are charged in advance via our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). The Wedding Pass is a single payment, as described above. Archive and Extension are recurring: Archive is charged each year and Extension each month, until you cancel. If a payment for your pass fails, your wedding page stays private to you until the payment goes through. Failure to pay may suspend or terminate the Services.
UK/EU Cooling-Off Period
You have a 14-day right to cancel your Wedding Pass, counted from checkout. You can tell us you are cancelling in any clear way. For example, you can use the Cancel and get a refund button on your account page, email hello@fizz.wedding, or use the model cancellation form below. If you cancel during the free trial, you pay nothing. If you cancel after we have charged you, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days of paid use. We count a part of a day as a whole day, and free trial days are never counted. Your pass ends at once and your guests lose access at once. We make the refund to your original payment method, and it can take 5 to 10 days to reach your card. If you have booked an Archive or Extension to follow your pass, you do not have to cancel it first. Tell us, and we will cancel it as part of your cancellation. The same 14-day right applies to your first purchase of Archive or Extension: email hello@fizz.wedding within 14 days of buying and we refund what you paid, minus a proportionate amount for the days used. We keep a record of your request to start the Wedding Pass straight away and of your acceptance of these Terms, including the version of the wording you ticked, the time, your account and the IP address of the request. We need this record to show the request and acknowledgement that this right depends on. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights. Model cancellation form. You do not have to use this form. Complete it and send it to us only if you want to cancel. To: Fizz Wedding Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email: hello@fizz.wedding I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: ........ Ordered on: ........ Name: ........ Address: ........ Signature (only if you send this form on paper): ........ Date: ........
Refunds
We provide refunds under the 14-day right above, as required by applicable consumer law, and for billing errors or duplicate charges. After those 14 days we do not refund a Wedding Pass, and it runs to its end date. If you cancel Archive or Extension, it stops at the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund the unused part.
5. Content License & Ownership
Your Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you upload ("User Content").
License to Us
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display and adapt your User Content for technical reasons (for example, resizing photos or converting video), only so that we can provide the Services to you and the people you share your wedding page with. We do not use your User Content for anything else. We do not use it in marketing, to train artificial intelligence models, or to develop other products, unless you give us separate express consent. This licence ends when you delete the content or close the wedding page/account (subject to back-ups and legal retention). If you contribute content to a wedding page as a guest or collaborator, you also grant the couple a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the wedding page and to download and retain copies of it (including through the guest book and media exports). That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already downloaded. The couple may also choose not to display particular content on their page. If they do, that content is taken off the wedding page, the gallery and any slideshow, but it is not deleted and it is not moderation: it remains yours, it remains visible to you in your own view of the guest book, and it remains within the couple's copy of the guest book and media exports under the licence above. If you are a guest, you can delete your own posts at any time. You can edit a post, and edit or delete a comment, within 24 hours of writing it. After that, email privacy@fizz.wedding and we will remove a comment for you. Hiding is not the only thing the couple can do. They may also delete content from their wedding page outright, in which case it is removed for everyone, including you, and cannot be recovered. The couple can disable a guest: the guest can no longer open the wedding page, and everything they posted stays on it. The couple can enable them again at any time. A disabled guest can delete everything they posted from that wedding, after we email them a code to confirm it is them. The couple can also remove a guest: the guest's account and everything they posted on that wedding page are deleted, and cannot be recovered. Copies the couple downloaded before then are theirs to keep, under the licence above. The couple can also ban a guest. The guest loses access at once, their posts and comments are hidden, and their email address and the internet address they joined from are blocked for that wedding. The couple can lift a ban at any time. These are decisions for the couple hosting the wedding. Our own enforcement is separate, and is described in the sections on prohibited content and on suspension.
Your Responsibilities
You warrant that your User Content: (a) is lawful and accurate; (b) does not infringe copyright, privacy, data protection, confidentiality, or publicity rights; (c) where it features other people, is used with appropriate consent (including for any sensitive data); and (d) respects the privacy and dignity of the couple, their guests, and others featured.
6. Prohibited Content & Conduct
Prohibited Content
No content that is unlawful; defamatory; hateful; harassing; exploitative; sexually explicit; violent/graphic; invasive of privacy; or that reveals personal data of others without a lawful basis/consent. We have no tolerance for objectionable content, or for abusive behaviour towards other people using the Services. We check guest book posts and comments against a fixed list of terms before they are saved, and again if they are edited. Anything that matches is refused. We tell the author the kind of language we found, not the word, and they can change it and try again. The list is deliberately narrow and the check is mechanical, so a refused post is sometimes an ordinary message that happens to contain a matching word. Anyone can report a post or comment from the menu on the item itself, and anyone can report content to us through our contact form without needing an account. We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it. If the content breaks these Terms or the law, we remove it. Where it is warranted, we also restrict the account responsible or remove that person from the wedding page. If we remove your content and you think we were wrong, you can complain as described in the section on illegal content and safety.
Prohibited Conduct
No wedding pages that mislead about identity, status, or relationship; no scraping, bulk harvesting, or security interference. We may report content to authorities where required by law.
7. Service Standard & Liability
Our Commitment
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
Data Loss
You should maintain copies of your uploads. We are not liable for data loss except where caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Liability Cap
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for all other claims is capped at the greater of £100 or the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event.
Non-Excludable Liabilities
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory consumer rights (for UK consumers, including our obligation to perform services with reasonable care and skill). All other liability is limited as set out above.
8. Copyright Policy
Global Policy
Copyright. Fizz Wedding respects intellectual property rights. If you think content on Fizz Wedding infringes your copyright, tell us through our contact form. Choose "Legal Matter" as the subject. You can also use the Report link on the item itself. Include a link to the content and explain why it infringes your rights. We may pass your notice, including your contact details, to the person who posted the content. We may restrict or close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright. We do not decide private licensing disputes. If we remove content and the person who posted it thinks we were wrong, they can complain as described in the section on illegal content and safety.
US Users (DMCA)
United States. If you are in the United States, you can instead send a notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act to dmca@fizz.wedding. We handle those notices as that Act requires.
False Notice Warning
Warning: misuse of notices. Submitting a copyright notice or counter-notice that knowingly misrepresents the facts may make you liable for damages, including legal costs. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the notice process.
9. Legal Notices
How to Submit
Submit legal notices via our contact form, selecting 'Legal Matter' as the subject. You do not need an account to do this.
UK Defamation
Defamation (UK). Where we receive a legally valid notice under applicable law and regulations, we will follow the required process, which may include disabling or removing content to retain legal defences.
Illegal Content
Illegal content and safety. We take steps to stop illegal content, such as child sexual abuse material, appearing on the Services. We check guest book text against a fixed list of terms before it is saved, and anyone can report content, as described in the section on prohibited content. We report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires. Complaints. You can complain to us through our contact form. Choose "Legal Matter" as the subject. You can complain if: (a) you reported content and are unhappy with what we did; (b) we removed your content or restricted your account and you think we were wrong; or (c) you think we are not meeting our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023. We look at it again and tell you what we decided.
10. Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data (including data about people featured on wedding pages), the legal bases we rely on, international transfers, and your rights.
We provide export tools, and we recommend you keep your own backups of anything precious. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures but cannot guarantee against all forms of data loss. When your Wedding Pass ends after its 12 months, your wedding page closes to guests and nobody can add anything new. For 60 days after the end, the couple can still view the page and download its content. If your free trial ends without your pass starting, or you cancel under the 14-day right, you have 14 days instead of 60. Before or during that time you can choose Archive, where guests can still view the page and nobody can add anything, or Extension, where the page stays fully open. Both cost extra. We show the price on your account page from 30 days before your pass ends. If you do not choose one, we close the wedding page, and we erase it and its content 40 days later, unless law or a valid notice requires otherwise. When an Archive ends there is no extra time to download. Backups may persist for a limited period.
11. Service Changes & Termination
Service Changes
We work hard to keep the website, the guest app and our other services available, but we cannot promise that they will always be available or free of faults. The Services are provided "as available". We rely on other companies for hosting, data storage, media delivery, email and payments, and an outage at one of them can make the Services unavailable for a time. We are not responsible for an outage caused by events outside our reasonable control, including a failure at one of those companies. This does not affect your statutory rights, and our responsibility for anything within our control is limited as set out under our service standard. We may change features to improve the Services. We may also suspend or remove a feature for legal or security reasons. We tell you in advance where we can. A change never takes away your statutory rights, including your right to a remedy if the Services no longer match what you bought.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. We may also suspend it if it puts the security of the Services or other users at risk. Unless the law or a risk to safety or security stops us, we tell you first, explain why, and give you a chance to put things right. We also give you a chance to download your content. This does not affect your statutory rights.
12. International Use & Communications
International Use
You are responsible for complying with local laws when you use the Services. Access may not be legal in certain jurisdictions; we may restrict access where unlawful.
Electronic Communications
You consent to receive service, billing, security, and legal notices electronically. Some operational emails are essential and cannot be disabled while your account is active.
13. Third Party Services
We use other companies to provide parts of the Services, for example Stripe for payments, and providers for hosting, media delivery and email. Our Privacy Policy lists them. We remain responsible to you for the Services.
13a. Writing Assistance
Where we offer help with writing, anything produced is a suggestion. You are responsible for reading it, correcting it, and deciding whether to use it. Automatically generated text can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and we do not warrant that it will be accurate, complete or fit for your purpose. You remain responsible for everything you publish on your wedding page, exactly as you would be had you written it yourself.
By using these features you agree that the text you submit may be sent to our artificial intelligence provider for the sole purpose of returning a draft to you. Who processes that text, where they are based, and what they may and may not do with it are set out in our Privacy Policy.
13b. The Fizz Wedding App
The Fizz guest app, a companion app for phones and tablets, is coming soon and is not yet available. This section applies once it is released. Using the app will be optional. When the app is released, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on a device you own or control, for the purpose of taking part in a wedding you have been invited to, or one you are hosting. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or any part of it. These Terms govern your use of the app exactly as they govern your use of the website, including the rules on content and conduct.
When the app is released, it will be downloaded through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, neither of which will be a party to these Terms. The store has its own terms and privacy policy governing the download itself. We, not the store, are responsible for the app and its content, and for any support or claims relating to it. Please come to us rather than the store.
Every post and comment in the app can be reported, and its author can be blocked, from the same menu on the item itself. Reporting sends the item to the couple hosting the wedding and to our support team for review. Blocking hides that person's posts, comments and reactions from you throughout that wedding. Blocking is your own private choice: the person is not notified, and their access is unchanged for everyone else. Anything posted from the app is checked against the same fixed list of terms as anything posted from the website. A match is refused and the author is asked to change it. We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it. If the content breaks these Terms or the law, we remove it. Where it is warranted, we also remove the person responsible from the wedding page. We may also act on patterns of blocking, as set out in the sections on prohibited content and on suspension. Please do not use reporting to harass someone, or to remove content you simply disagree with.
Once the app is released, we may release updates to it, and some updates are necessary for it to keep working. If you do not install them, the app may stop working correctly or at all. We support current versions of Android and iOS. Support for older devices and operating system versions may end over time. We may change or withdraw app features as described in the section on service changes and availability.
Additional terms for the Apple App Store
Once the app is released, where you download it from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, and prevail over the rest of this section to the extent of any conflict. Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. Scope of licence. Your licence to use the app is non-transferable and limited to use of the app on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing. Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support. Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever in respect of the app. Nothing in this paragraph affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to meet an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation. Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim. Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo, or designated by the United States Government as a terrorist supporting country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. On your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. Our contact details for any question, complaint or claim about the app are set out in the section on who we are.
14. Changes & Governing Law
Terms Changes
We may change these Terms for a reason we give you, for example a change in the law or a change in how the Services work. 1. Notice: We email every account at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. The email says what is changing and why. The new Terms show the date they take effect at the top. 2. Wedding Passes already bought: A material change does not apply to a Wedding Pass you have already bought, unless the law requires it or the change is only to your benefit. 3. Nothing is switched off: Not accepting a change never stops you editing your wedding page, managing collaborators or publishing. Your wedding page stays open to your guests. 4. Reading the new version: When you sign in, we may show a notice asking you to read the new Terms. We record when you do. Minor changes, such as fixing a typo, updating our contact details or making wording clearer without changing its meaning, are made without notice.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This includes any dispute or claim about these Terms or the Services, whether or not it is about the contract. If you live in England or Wales, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live anywhere else, you keep the consumer rights that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement. Nothing in these Terms takes away a right that the law of the place where you live gives you.
Service Territory & Legal Limitations
Fizz Wedding Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We sell the Wedding Pass to customers in the United Kingdom. Guests can visit a wedding page from anywhere. The section on governing law explains which law applies and where you can bring a claim.
15. General Terms
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the plan details shown on our Pricing page when you bought your Wedding Pass, make up our agreement with you about the Services. Our Privacy Policy is not part of that agreement. It explains how we use personal information.
Severability
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective.
No Waiver
A failure to enforce is not a waiver.
Assignment
You may not assign without our consent; we may assign as part of a reorganisation or sale.
