Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.Create a Wedding Page: Set up a dedicated page with your names, wedding date, a profile photo, and a background photo. Your page includes sections for Our Story, Wedding Tree, Guest Book, Gallery, Wedding Details, Itinerary, RSVP, and Seating Plan, and you can keep it in draft while you build, then publish when you're ready. Our Story: Tell the story of how you met, the proposal, and everything in between, in your own words.Photo and Video Gallery: Upload photos and videos to build a visual collection of memories. Add captions, rearrange the order, and view them as a slideshow. Guests can browse the gallery and view media in a full-screen lightbox.Guest Book: The guest book is where your guests come together. They can post written messages, share photos, videos, and audio, and embed YouTube videos. Anyone can tap the champagne glass on a post to show appreciation, and you can switch between a List view and a Snapshots view that displays photos as a polaroid wall.AI Speech Writer: When the right words are hard to find, the AI Speech Writer helps you and your wedding party prepare speeches and toasts.Wedding Details: Share the practical information your guests need, including the date, time, venue, parking information, dress code, and any other details for the day.Itinerary: Build the order of the day, from the ceremony to the last dance, with times that are always the venue's local time. Items can be for everyone, for your wedding party only, or for particular roles, and each guest sees only what is meant for them.Wedding Party Roles: Mark guests as bridesmaids, groomsmen, best man, ushers and more from your guest list. RSVP is available on every plan, with meal choices on the Celebrate and Champagne plans.Menu Builder: Build your wedding menu with courses, dishes, and set menus, including allergen and dietary information for each dish. The menu builder is on the Celebrate and Champagne plans.Seating Planner: Design your room, arrange tables, and seat guests down to the exact chair with drag and drop. Publish the plan and guests can find their table on your wedding page, with their own seat highlighted. An AI seating assistant is on every plan: Toast allows 3 uses in any 30 days, Celebrate 25 and Champagne 100.Background Music: Choose tracks from our music library and build a playlist that plays softly when guests visit your wedding page. Select which tracks to include, set the order, and preview them before saving.Colour Themes: Personalise your page with 30 colour themes. Three are free, and 27 premium themes are available on the Celebrate and Champagne plans.Custom URL, QR Code, and Sharing: Give your wedding page a personalised web address that's easy to remember. Share an invite link or QR code so guests can join, and add a wedding hashtag to tie everything together.Gifts: Add up to six gift links, from registries to cash funds, so guests know exactly where to find them. Cash funds include a QR code guests can scan.Collaborators: Invite your partner or trusted helpers to manage the page alongside you. Collaborators can help with content, moderation, and keeping the page up to date.Content Moderation: As the page owner, you have full control over what appears. Review posts and comments, remove anything inappropriate, and manage content reports. Guests can also flag content they feel isn't appropriate.Guest App (coming soon): The free Fizz guest app is coming soon. Question 8

How do guests RSVP?

Accepted Answer

Guests open your wedding page from their invite link and go to the RSVP section. They choose Yes, No or Maybe, and their response is saved straight away.Your itinerary can ask about parts of the day, such as the ceremony and the evening party. Guests then answer each part instead. The form asks, for example, Are you coming to Ceremony?, with its day, time and place. They choose Yes or No for each part, then select Save RSVP.Guests only see the parts they are invited to. They answer meals, plus-ones and song requests once, not per part. Plus-ones come to the same parts as their guest.Guests who say yes can also add plus-ones before saving. On the Celebrate and Champagne plans, once you have added a menu, they can add their meal choice and dietary requirements too. If song requests are switched on, they will be asked what song will get them on the dance floor. If you rename or remove a dish that a guest already chose, the form clears it and asks them to choose again. If you have set an RSVP deadline, guests can reply until the end of that day, UK time. After that they cannot change their reply, but they can still see what they sent. If you have set a Meal choices close date, guests cannot change their meal or dietary notes after it. They can still say they cannot come. Every response appears in Guest Management in Manage.Did a guest tell you their answer themselves, for example in a phone call, a text or in person? Record it for them in Guest Management: select the pencil on their row. It counts as their RSVP. The guest can still change it until your RSVP deadline. After that, only you and your collaborators can. It also shows in your change history.

Deletion is permanent, and a post can only be deleted by its author within 24 hours of being created. After that it becomes part of the wedding page record. If you did not write it, you can report it. Open the three dots menu and choose Report. The report goes to the couple whose wedding it is and to our support team. In the Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, the same menu will also let you block whoever wrote it, which will hide their posts, comments and reactions from you across that whole wedding, without telling them.If it is your wedding page, you have more. You can hide any post, which takes it off your wedding page, out of the gallery and off the slideshow while leaving it with its author. You can remove a guest from the wedding page altogether, which takes their posts, comments and reactions down at the same time. And anything the word filter has held is yours to publish or delete outright, in the Waiting for you section. There is one thing couples cannot do, which is delete somebody else's ordinary post outright from the guest book. Hiding is the tool for that, and for everyone visiting your page the effect is the same. Question 18

Why has my guest book message not appeared?

Accepted Answer

Most messages appear the moment you post them. If yours has not, there are two likely reasons, and neither needs anything from you.It may be waiting for the couple. Everything written in the guest book is checked automatically against a fixed list of words we keep off wedding pages by default. If a message matches one, it is held and shown to the couple, who decide whether to publish it. You still see it in your own view of the guest book, so nothing looks different from where you are sitting. The list is short and blunt, so an ordinary message can occasionally be caught by a listed word sitting inside a longer one. The couple see it and let it through. The couple may have chosen not to show it. They can hide a post from their wedding page, and that is usually about an unflattering photo rather than anything you wrote. Hidden posts stay visible to you in your own view, and they are still yours. If neither fits, refresh the page and check you are on the right wedding. If it is still missing, get in touch through our contact form and we will look into it.

Question 19

What happens when I reach my media limit?

Accepted Answer

When you reach your plan's photo or video limit, you'll see a notification and won't be able to upload additional media of that type. Your existing content remains fully accessible. You can either delete some existing media to make room, upgrade to a higher plan with increased limits, or contact us if you need assistance managing your media.

Question 20

How do I report inappropriate content?

Accepted Answer

Open the three dots menu on the post or comment, choose Report, and confirm. That is all there is to it.Your report goes to two places: the couple whose wedding it is, so they can act on their own page, and our support team, so that we can. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours of receiving them, by removing the content and, where it is warranted, removing the person responsible from the wedding page.In the Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, the same menu will also let you block whoever wrote it. Blocking will hide that person's posts, comments and reactions from you everywhere in that wedding. It will be private: they will not be told, and nothing will change for anybody else. You will be able to see who you have blocked, and undo it, in the app under Settings. If you would rather not report something inside the product, or you do not have an account at all, use our contact form and choose Content Moderation as the subject. You do not need to be signed in to do this.Guest book messages are also checked automatically before they appear, against a fixed list of words we keep off wedding pages by default. Anything that matches is held for the couple to look at, so a good deal never reaches the page in the first place.

Question 21

How do I delete photos or videos to free up gallery capacity?

Accepted Answer

Question 41

What is the Fizz companion app?

Accepted Answer

Fizz is a wedding website and a companion app that work together. The website is your hub before, during and after the day. The app is built for the day itself: guests capture photos in the moment with wedding-day filters, record voice notes, and leave video messages, and everything lands straight in your guest book and gallery. The app also gives each guest their own day-of essentials: the live feed of posts from other guests, their own menu choices and allergen information, their seat once you publish your seating plan, and the itinerary for the day, showing only the items meant for them. If you have given a guest a wedding party role, the app also tells them, for example "You're the best man".The guest app is coming soon and will be free for your guests to use. Until then, guests join and post on your wedding page in their browser.

Question 42

How do I use AI message suggestions in the guest book?

Accepted Answer

If a guest is stuck for words, the guest book can suggest a few. In the post editor they open Help me find the right words, choose who they are to you and the tone they want, and get three drafts to pick from and edit.Using the photo they are postingOn a post with a single photo there is a Look at my photo box. Tick it and the photo is sent along with the request, so the suggestions are written around that moment rather than about weddings in general. It does not describe the picture back to you, because you can already see it.The box is off unless a guest ticks it. Leave it alone and the photo is never sent. The image itself is never stored or logged either way, only the fact that a suggestion was drawn from one.Suggestions are written by AI and are labelled as such before anyone uses them. They are a starting point: guests can edit them freely, and nothing is posted until they choose to post it. Each guest gets one set of suggestions per wedding.

Question 43

How do I share my wedding page or a blog post?

Accepted Answer

There are two types of content you can share, and each works differently:Sharing Blog PostsBlog posts are public content and can be freely shared. Each blog post includes social sharing buttons for:Twitter/X: Share the post directly to your timelineFacebook: Share the post on your Facebook feedCopy Link: Copy the blog post URL to share via any channelSharing blog posts on social media is encouraged and helps others find helpful content.Sharing Your Wedding PageWedding pages use a private invite-link system. To share your wedding page:Go to Manage, find your wedding page card, and select Copy Invite LinkSelect Invite QR instead if you want a printable QR codeSend the link to your intended guests via a secure, private channel such as direct email or a direct WhatsApp messagePlease share carefully: Unlike blog posts, wedding pages are private. Anyone with the invite link can access the wedding page, so avoid posting the link on social media or public forums. We recommend sharing only with people you know and trust. The Share panel in Manage also creates ready-made keepsakes for sharing your page: a save the date card, a digital invitation card, a printable QR table card for your reception tables, and an add to calendar file. Each card downloads in one click with your page link and invite code built in.

Question 44

What is the Wedding Tree feature?

Accepted Answer

Wedding Tree Feature OverviewThe Wedding Tree feature lets couples build an interactive visual tree directly on the wedding page, introducing both families and the wedding party to your guests.Adding PeopleAdd each person with:NamePhotoDatesGenderWedding party rolesWedding party roles are a separate thing from the tree. You give a guest a role, such as bridesmaid or best man, from Registered Guests in Manage, and it shows as a badge on your guest list and on your seating plan.If a person on your tree is linked to a guest who has a role (use Link to Guest when you edit their card), the role also appears on their card in the tree. That label is shown to you, the host, only. Guests and visitors see the tree without roles. To give someone a role, see How do I add someone to the wedding party, such as a bridesmaid or best man?.Publishing your treeBefore you can publish your tree, choose both partners under The Couple. Publish stays switched off, with a note beside it, until you do. If a publish is refused, Fizz says "Choose both partners under The Couple before you publish."Removing a person or a relationshipPress the bin on a person or a relationship. The bin turns into Remove? with Yes and No in the same row. Nothing is removed until you press Yes. When you remove a person, the prompt tells you how many relationships go with them.

Question 45

How long can I edit or delete my post?

Accepted Answer

For guests: Posts and comments can be edited or deleted within 24 hours of creation. After this period, the content becomes permanent and can only be removed by the wedding page owner. For wedding page owners: You can always moderate content on your wedding page regardless of when it was posted. Question 46

Can I see who made changes to our wedding page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Go to Manage and open History (there is also a History button on your wedding page card). It shows who changed what and when, including changes made by your collaborators, with each person named as owner or collaborator. Only you can see it, and entries can never be edited or deleted, by anyone. If something looks wrong, quote the entry's reference (it looks like #a3f9c2e1) when you contact support.

Question 47

How do I invite some guests to only part of the day?

Accepted Answer

Use guest groups. A group is a name you choose, such as Ceremony and dinner, Party only or Close family. You then choose which parts of your itinerary each group is invited to. A guest is in one group at most. A guest in no group is invited to every part that is for Everyone.Guest groups work on every plan. Your collaborators can manage them too.Make a groupGo to Manage and open Registered Guests.Find the Guest groups panel for your wedding page, below the invite code settings.Type a name under New group and select Add group. You can have up to 10 groups. To rename or delete one, open the menu on its row.Give a group its own invite linkSelect Turn on link on the group's row. Then select Copy link to share it, or QR to show its QR code. Someone who joins with this link is put in the group straight away. A guest who already joined keeps the group they have.To stop a link, open the menu on the group's row and choose Turn link off. To swap it for a new one, choose Re-issue link. Either way the old link and QR code stop working. Guests who already joined keep their access.During your free trial, no invite link lets guests in. Group links work once your Wedding Pass starts.Put a guest in a groupIn the guest list, open the menu on a guest's row and choose Group. Pick a group, or No group. Guests cannot change their own group.Choose who is invited to each partOpen the Itinerary panel and add or edit an item.Under Who is invited, choose Everyone or Chosen groups. With Chosen groups, tick the groups that are invited.Guests outside those groups do not see the item anywhere: not on the itinerary, in their calendar, in the download or in Places on the day. Guests in no group do not see it either. To get a Yes or No for that part, tick Ask guests if they're coming to this. How do I set up RSVPs, meal choices and song requests? explains answers by part.Delete a groupOpen the menu on the group's row and choose Delete. Its guests move to no group. An item that was only for that group then reaches no guest until you choose another group for it. The itinerary marks it No groups invited.

Question 48

How do I export my guest list and RSVPs?

Accepted Answer

Open Guest Management in Manage and choose Export. You will get a spreadsheet file (CSV) that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. The export has one row per person, with each plus-one on their own row next to the guest they came with. It includes RSVP responses, meal choices, dietary notes and song requests, so you can share final numbers with your venue and caterer without copying anything by hand.If your itinerary asks about parts of the day, the export has a column for each part, headed by its name, with Yes, No or blank. A plus-one has the same answers as their guest. If you use guest groups, a Group column shows each person's group. The export leaves out guests you have removed. The Responded column shows the date of the guest's first reply.

Question 49

How do I know when a guest changes their RSVP?

Accepted Answer

Open Notifications. It is the box with a bell in your wedding page's settings in Manage. A red number on the bell counts the items that still need you. When you deal with an item, the number goes down.Notifications lists each time a guest changes a reply. It tells you when a guest can no longer come, and where they sat. It also tells you when a guest is now coming or maybe, when a meal choice changes, and when a plus-one is added or dropped. If a guest changes a dietary note, it says the note changed. It never shows the note itself.Notifications is a to-do list. Each line names the guest. Under To sort out you see seat work, such as a guest who can no longer come and the seat to look at. Press Open seat on a line to go to that seat in the seating plan. Under For your caterer you see meal and dietary changes. A choice that is no longer on the menu also appears here. Press Choose for them to change that guest's reply, or View meal totals to open the totals. Press Mark as done on a caterer line when you have passed the change on. Seat items clear themselves when you deal with the seat.Finished items move to Resolved. Press Resolved to open the list. Each line has a tick and says how it was resolved. If you marked a line as done by mistake, press Undo. Anyone with edit access to the wedding can mark a line as done or undo it, and everyone sees the same result. The seating plan also shows a banner that says how many seats need attention.A chair held for a guest who can no longer come stays held until you deal with it. Tap that chair in the seating plan. Choose Free this chair or Give this chair to… Either choice clears the matching item here. You also see a Sort these out button while your plan still has assistant uses left. It opens the AI seating assistant with the seats to fill already typed in. The assistant suggests changes. Nothing moves until you accept a suggestion.Notifications needs RSVP. RSVP is on every plan. Meal items need the Celebrate or Champagne plan.Fizz can also email you a summary of the items that are still open. It comes once a week while your wedding page is live, and every day in the last 14 days before your wedding. It sends nothing when no items are open. Collaborators with access get it too. To turn it off, use the Weekly summary of RSVP changes switch in Email preferences. Each email links back to Notifications.

Question 50

How do I send RSVP reminder emails?

Accepted Answer

Open Guest Management in Manage and choose RSVP reminders. Before anything is sent, you will see a preview of exactly who will receive the email: only guests who have not replied yet.Confirm, and the reminders are sent straight away. To avoid bothering your guests, the same guest will not be emailed again within 72 hours, even if you press send twice.Fizz sends no reminders after your RSVP deadline has passed. It also sends none while RSVP is switched off or your wedding page is not live. If reminders cannot be sent, the preview tells you why. Collaborators with edit access can send reminders too.Every reminder email has a link that lets a guest stop reminder emails. A guest who stops them is left out of your reminder list.

Question 51

How do I add a photo from a post to the main gallery?

Accepted Answer

Only wedding page administrators (you or your collaborators) can promote photos to the gallery - guests cannot see this option. When viewing a post that contains photos, look for the 'Add to Gallery' button on the photo.Clicking this promotes the photo to the main photo gallery while keeping it in the original post.Once promoted, the button changes to show 'In Gallery' or 'Remove from Gallery' if you want to undo the action. This is a great way to curate the best photos from guest posts into your wedding page's main gallery.

Question 52

How do guests find their seat?

Accepted Answer

Once you publish your seating plan, a Seating Plan section appears in your wedding page menu. Guests can open it to see the room laid out exactly as you designed it, and tap any table to see who is sitting there.Signed-in guests get a personal touch: the plan highlights their own seat automatically. A Your Seat chip shows their table at a glance, their seat and their party's seats are marked on the plan, and tapping the chip takes them straight to their table. Nobody has to squint at a board on the day.Guests will also be able to check their seat in the Fizz guest app, which is coming soon. A dedicated Your Seat screen will show their table, who they are sitting with, and which seats belong to their party.

Question 53

How do I use the AI seating assistant?

Accepted Answer

The seating planner includes an AI assistant on every plan. Toast allows 3 uses in any 30 days, Celebrate 25 and Champagne 100. Open the assistant panel inside the Seating Planner and ask about your plan in plain language. It understands your guest list and your current arrangement, so it can help you spot unseated guests, think through table balance, and work out tricky decisions such as where to seat groups who do not know each other. It suggests, and you decide what changes to make. The assistant works only with your own guest list and seating plan, within Manage. When guests change their replies, Notifications can open this assistant with the seats to fill already typed in. Read "How do I know when a guest changes their RSVP?" to learn more.

Question 54

How do I add gift registry and cash fund links?

Accepted Answer

Open your wedding details in Manage and find the Gifts section. You can add up to six gift links, and each one can be either a gift registry or a cash fund, so you can mix a registry with a honeymoon fund if you like.Guests see your gift links on your wedding page. Cash funds also include a QR code, which guests can scan to go straight to the fund. That makes it easy to share at the venue as well as online. If you would rather not mention gifts at all, simply leave the section empty and nothing appears on your page.

Question 55

How do I build my wedding menu?

Accepted Answer

The menu builder lives in Manage, alongside your other wedding page tools. Create your courses and dishes, add allergen and dietary information to each dish, and group dishes into set menus if you are offering fixed combinations. When meal choices are enabled on your RSVP form, guests pick their dishes as part of their RSVP, including choices for their plus-ones, and you can review everyone's selections from your RSVP management view. Allergen details stay attached to each dish, so the information your caterer needs is all in one place.Having a buffet or sharing platters? In the menu builder, choose Buffet: guests see every dish and what it contains when they RSVP, with nothing to pick. They can still add dietary requirements for themselves and their plus-ones, and Registered Guests lists every note in one place for your caterer. If you would rather not list the food at all, leave the menu empty and guests who say yes are only asked about dietary needs. Each dish needs its own name within a course. Fizz will not save a course with the same dish twice. It will not save a Buffet with no dishes either. If you rename or remove a dish that a guest already chose, the guest is asked to choose again. Notifications lists each choice that is no longer on the menu, so you can choose for them. The Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, will also show each guest their own menu choices and allergen information at a glance on the day.

Question 56

How do I see what we have hidden, and put something back?

Accepted Answer

On your wedding page, open the guest book and choose the Hidden view. You get a list of only the posts you have hidden, and only you and your collaborators can see it. The Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, will show the same list under Hidden in the feed. From there you can put any post back on your page one at a time. There is no button to restore everything at once, on purpose: it would be far too easy to tap it by accident and put every hidden photo back on the wall in the middle of your reception.Hidden posts stay in your archive for as long as your wedding page exists, so nothing is lost while it sits in this list.

Question 57

How do I give a wedding party member a custom title?

Accepted Answer

Add a custom title in the same dialog where you choose the role, and it replaces the role name wherever that person's role is shown. In Registered Guests, open the menu at the end of the guest's row and choose Wedding party role.Choose their Role, for example Bridesmaid. In Custom title (optional), type the title you want, for example Chief bridesmaid. It can be up to 40 characters.Select Save role.If none of the roles fits, choose Other. The field then becomes Role name and is required, for example Reader. To remove a title, clear the field and save again. The person keeps their role.Good to know: a custom title changes the words, not the role. A bridesmaid titled Chief bridesmaid still sits with the bridesmaids when Arrange for me fills the top table, while a guest with the role Other is not placed at the top table automatically. The title shows on your guest list and seating plan, and to you only on the wedding tree. In the Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, that guest will see it as "Your role: Chief bridesmaid".

Question 58

How do I seat the wedding party at the top table?

Accepted Answer

Give your wedding party their roles, make sure the plan has a top table, then select Arrange for me and the party fills the top table in order.Give each party member a role in Registered Guests. How do I add someone to the wedding party, such as a bridesmaid or best man? shows how.Open the Seating Planner. If there is no top table yet, select + Add table and choose Top table, or use Add starter layout on an empty plan, which includes one.Select Arrange for me.Here is what it does:Party members sit in this order: maid or matron of honour and honour attendants first, then best man, best woman and best person, then bridesmaids, groomsmen and attendants. Two seats stay free for you as a couple. If your plan has a sweetheart table, none are held back.A household goes to the top table whole or not at all.Ushers, the child roles (flower girl, page boy, ring bearer, flower child) and Other are seated like any other guest.Only guests who have said yes and do not yet have a seat are placed. If someone does not fit, a message beginning "Not at the top table" names them and says why. They are then seated like any other guest.Party members' chairs are drawn differently on the plan, and the seat key shows Wedding party.

Question 59

Who can see the wedding party roles?

Accepted Answer

Roles are for you. Your guests never see who has which role, but each guest sees the itinerary items meant for them. You: roles show as a badge on Registered Guests, on the chair and in the details of a seated guest in your seating planner, and on the wedding tree card of a person you have linked to that guest. Only the account owner can open Registered Guests.Your guests: they cannot see anyone's role. The seating plan you publish carries no roles, and the wedding tree shows roles to you only. A guest in the wedding party sees the itinerary items meant for them, marked Wedding party. Guests outside the group do not see those items at all.Collaborators: they see every itinerary item, including the ones for the wedding party. The Fizz guest app (coming soon): it will tell each guest only their own role, for example "You're the best man".Good to know: the wedding party role is separate from being a collaborator. A role is a job on the day, while a collaborator can edit your wedding page.

Question 60

How do I make itinerary items visible to the wedding party only?

Accepted Answer

Use Who can see this in the item's dialog to choose who an itinerary item is for.In the Itinerary panel, select Add item, or the pencil icon beside an item you already have.Fill in the item, then under Who can see this choose Everyone, Wedding party only (anyone you have given a role) or Specific roles. With Specific roles, select the roles under Roles that can see this, for example just the best man.Save the item. Guests outside the group will not see it at all.To check the result, go to Preview at the bottom of the panel and use See it as to choose A guest (not in the wedding party), Someone in the wedding party or one particular role.Good to know: roles are set on the guest list, so give people their roles first. How do I add someone to the wedding party, such as a bridesmaid or best man? shows how. Only guests with their own invitation can have a role. People it is meant for see the item marked Wedding party, and collaborators see every item. The wedding day template already includes two, group photos with the wedding party and a best man reminder about the rings.

Question 61

How do my guests see the itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Once you select Show to guests, your guests find an Itinerary entry in the menu of your wedding page. The entry appears for a guest only when there is something in it for them. A guest with no items meant for them does not see it.Items are grouped by day and shown in time order, each with its start time, its end time if you gave one, its location, its address and its notes. A line at the top gives the venue's timezone. On the wedding day, the item happening now is marked Now and the next one is marked Next.An item with an address shows a Directions link. It opens the place in Google Maps, which hands over to the guest's own maps app.Items meant for the wedding party carry a Wedding party label, and only the people they are for can see them.An item you have invited only chosen guest groups to is shown only to guests in those groups. Guests in no group do not see it, and it is left out of Places on the day, the calendar and the download. The Wedding Details page shows a See the full itinerary link when the guest has an itinerary to read. Below it, Places on the day lists each item with an address, with its time and a Directions link. Two folded sections above the timeline let guests keep a copy. Add to your calendar puts the itinerary in their phone calendar (How do guests add the itinerary to their phone calendar?), and Download or print saves a PDF or phone images (How do I print or download the itinerary?).You always see the Itinerary entry in your own menu. Until you share it, the page tells you that guests cannot see it yet.The Fizz guest app, which is coming soon, will show the same itinerary, and a guest with a wedding party role will see a line such as "You're the best man" at the top.

Question 62

How do I add a banquet, comb, horseshoe, serpentine or ring table?

Accepted Answer

Select + Add table in the Seating Planner and choose the layout you want from the picker.Go to Manage and open the Seating Planner.Select + Add table. The picker groups the layouts as Round and rectangular, Long banquet rows, Comb (E shape), Horseshoe (U shape), Serpentine and Large rings.Select a card. Each card lists its seat range, such as seats 8 to 56 for a banquet row with seating on both sides. The table appears in the first clear spot in your room. Drag it where you want it.Seat guests as you would at any table, by dragging them onto a chair. Seat numbers run around the table in order, so a household seated in list order sits together.Good to know: each of these is a single table with its own seat count. You can change the layout, seat count or rotation later from the table's details. Which table layout should I choose? compares them.

Question 63

How do I change a table's layout, seat count or rotation?

Accepted Answer

Select the table in the Seating Planner and use its details: Layout, Seats and Rotate table.Select the table. Its details open beside the room. On a phone, tap the table in the table list.To change the layout, select the button under Layout. The Change layout picker opens on the current layout. Choose another one and the table changes to it. Seat numbers keep their place, and the seat count moves to the new layout's usual number, but never below the number of guests already seated. To change the number of seats, type a number in Seats. The range beside the label, such as (8 to 56), depends on the layout. A number outside the range is ignored. To turn the table, select Rotate table. Each press turns it 45 degrees.Good to know: if you choose a layout that seats fewer people than are already at the table, Fizz says "Too many guests for that layout" and changes nothing. Move some guests first. Round tables and large rings have no Rotate table button because they look the same turned. Round and rectangular tables seat up to 24. If a guest is selected in the guest list, selecting a table seats that guest instead, so select their name again first.A table cannot have fewer seats than the people seated at it. Held chairs count as people. If you try, Fizz says, for example, "6 people are seated here. Move someone first."

Question 64

How do guests add the itinerary to their phone calendar?

Accepted Answer

Guests add the itinerary from the Add to your calendar section on their itinerary page. They can download a file once, or subscribe so their calendar follows your changes.A guest opens Itinerary on your wedding page, then Add to your calendar, a folded section above the timeline. Only guests see it, so you will not find it on your own view.Download a calendar file gives a one-off copy that opens in their calendar app. It never changes afterwards.Subscribe to updates gives a personal link. On iPhone, iPad and Mac it opens the Calendar app. Anywhere else the guest selects Copy link and adds it themselves: in Google Calendar on the web under Other calendars, From URL, or in Outlook under Add calendar, Subscribe from web.Under the link, Get a new link replaces it and stops the old one, and Stop updates switches the subscription off. A calendar that already has the itinerary keeps what it has until the guest removes it.Good to know:A guest should pick one route. Doing both puts every item in their calendar twice. Each guest gets only the items meant for them: the shared ones, plus wedding party or role items if they have that role. Times are the venue's local time and stay right when a phone is in another timezone. A subscription follows a change of role on its next refresh.Updates are not instant. The calendar app decides when to check: Apple Calendar anywhere from every 15 minutes to once a day, and Google Calendar roughly every 8 to 24 hours. The link is private to that guest and should not be shared. It stops working if you remove them from your guest list.Nothing is sent as a reminder or notification. For you: in your Itinerary panel, Add to a calendar has Who is it for and Download a calendar file, for guests, the wedding party, one role or the full run sheet. It is a copy, so it does not change if you change a time later.
